Rajganj, 23rd December: 50 families left BJP and other parties and joined TMC at the premises of Ambari Junior High School under Rajganj block Majhiali Gram Panchayat, on Wednesday.
Krishna Das, president of ST, SC, OBC cell of Jalpaiguri district, joined the rally in different parts of the district. A public meeting was held at Ambari Junior High School premises of Majhiyali Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block on Wednesday.
Krishna Das said that region-based public meetings are being carried out across Rajganj block. He further said that the joining programme held today strengthened the party.
The meeting was attended by Mrigen Roy, Patkata Pradhan Hembram, Majhiali Anchal former deputy pradhan Paritosh Sarkar and many others.
