Cooch Behar, 27th March: In a recent development, a huge quantity of cannabis has been recovered from a government bus bound for Siliguri. However, no arrest has been made in connection to the case.
As per reports, during checking on Wednesday morning at Panchanan More adjacent to Mathabhanga, 5 kg and 300 grams of cannabis was recovered from a government bus travelling from Sitai to Siliguri.
According to police sources, the cops of Mathabhanga police station were engaged in naka checking when the government bus was searched. During the search, the owners of all other luggage’s were present barring the bag containing the banned item.
