Darjeeling, 25th April: In the last 24 hours, a total of 424 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Darjeeling district, including the Siliguri municipal area and parts of Jalpaiguri.
According to the information received, 191 COVID-19 cases have been reported from Siliguri Municipal Corporation area, 21 from Darjeeling municipality, 12 from Sukna, 04 from Kurseong municipality, 05 from Mirik, 05 from Bijanbari, 15 from Sukhia Pokhari, 02 from Takdah, 11 from Kharibari, 54 from Matigara, 47 from Naxalbari and 57 from Phansidewa. A total of 269 cases are from SMC including the Jalpaiguri portion.
54 cases have been recovered including home isolation patients (*this discharge figures don’t include discharge from private hospitals and defence establishment)
