Dhupguri, 17th August: Sensation prevailed after a 4-foot long poisonous cobra was rescued from a residence in the Master Quarter Para area of Ward No. 12 in Dhupguri. The incident caused a stir in the entire region.
The snake was spotted slithering in the kitchen on Sunday night. The matter was then reported to the Dhupguri Environmental Organization Doors Nature and Snake Lovers Organization.
The organization workers reached the spot later and rescued the snake after half an hour of effort.
