14-feet-long King Cobra rescued from Jalpaiguri

Jalpaiguri, 25th June: A 14-feet-long king cobra slithered into a house located in the enclosed area of Gorumara National Park.


As per the report, Fagu Oraon, the house owner, spotted the snake this morning and immediately informed the forest department and the environmental activists.
As soon as the news was received, forest personnel reached the spot and rescued the king cobra. According to the forest department, the snake will be released into the Gorumara forest after primary treatment.
