10 AITUC leaders including Saman Pathak arrested on the charge of breaching lockdown

Siliguri, 22nd May: The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) has launched a nationwide demonstration with several demands including proper ration distribution, repatriation of migrant workers, and repeal of anti-labor laws.

As per the report, the Darjeeling District AITUC members, on Friday, visited the SDO office to submit a memorandum, during which, Saman Pathak and 9 other leaders were allegedly arrested by the Pradhan Nagar police under the charge of breaching the government protocols and not maintaining social distance.

Later, a representative team comprising of two members handed over the memorandum to the SDO, under the leadership of Alok Chakraborty.
