Young Indians to launch Yi Sikkim Chapter soon

Young Indians (Yi), which is an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), organised a meeting in Gangtok, Sikkim on Sunday, with leading entrepreneurs and youth of the state. Yi is planning to launch the Yi Sikkim Chapter soon, to provide a platform to the youth and entrepreneurs of Sikkim so that they can be a part of the voice of Young Indians globally.


Piyush Garg representing the Yi National Team introduced Yi, its vision to the audience, and spoke about its nation building activities. Also, Lekh Ram Nyoliwala, Chair – Yi Siliguri Chapter spoke about the youth leadership activities that have been conducted by Yi Siliguri.

The meeting was attended by over 20 enthusiastic young entrepreneurs, who shared a passion for youth leadership and were excited to join Yi and kick-start the Yi Sikkim chapter.


Young Indians (Yi), founded in the year 2002, is a movement to converge, lead, co-create & influence India’s future. The organisation currently has a presence in over 54 cities across the nation with over 3,200 members. It engages over 29,500 college students from 130 leading educational institutions across the nation under its brand “Yuva”.

The Yi membership includes young progressive Indians between the age group 21-40 years & comprises of entrepreneurs, professionals & achievers from different walks of lives. Yi grooms its members for offices of significance and also enables Indian youth to converge, collaborate and co-create using an expanding digitally enabled network.
