Siliguri, 10th January: Anjali Das, a resident of Matigara Patiramjote, alleged that her husband Alok Das has been deceived by another woman Rima Roy, a resident of the same area.
Allegedly, Rima roy asked Alok Das to meet her at Gajoldoba on January 06. After he reached there, she made him drink alcohol until he was drunk and then robbed him of everything he owned at the moment.
Reportedly, the Gajoldoba outpost police rescued Das. Following this, Anjali Das, wife of Alok Das, lodged a written complaint at the NJP police station seeking justice for the incident.
Based on the allegation, the police arrested the accused Rima Roy. The accused was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Sunday.
