Siliguri, 17th March: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress party is receiving immense support from the Bishwakarma Youth association.
Addressing a press conference at the Siliguri Journalists’ Club today, the president of the Bishwakarma Youth association, Eokin Lamichhane rendered his support towards the Mamata-led party in the forthcoming assembly elections. He said that his organization in Darjeeling hills is with the TMC.
Lamichhane urged the public to vote for the TMC in this year’s assembly elections. Although the candidates for TMC have not been announced in the Darjeeling hills yet, the association claimed to support the TMC regardless of the candidate’s face. He further applauded the TMC’s work for the dalits of the Gorkha society in the region.
