Rajganj, 21st September: In Rajganj, the West Bengal Trinamool Primary Teachers’ Association provided a hearse van and an aluminium dola (janaza) to the Shikarpur Anchal Pradhan.
It has been learned that Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Congress Women President Nurjahan Begum and District Primary Education-in-council Chairman Laikkha Mohan Roy handed over the said items to the Shikarpur Anchal Pradhan during a programme at Devi Chowdhuranu meeting hall in Belakoba under Rajganj Block. The hearse van and aluminium dola (janaza) was provided at a cost of 2 lakh 80 thousand rupees.
In this regard, MLA Khageshwar Roy said, “Today, the Trinamool West Bengal Primary Teachers’ Association of Rajganj Circle provided a hearse van and an aluminium dola (janaza). We applaud their initiative.”
Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Education Officer Rupali Dey, West Bengal Trinamool Primary Teachers Association District President Nirmal Sarkar, Trinamool Primary Teachers Association Rajganj Circle President Nimai Pal, Shikarpur Gram Panchayat Deputy Pradhan Amalendu Bhowmik, and other teachers were present at the programme.
