West Bengal Assembly Election 2021: BJP starts its electioneering in Siliguri

Siliguri, 27th February: The moment the Election Commission sounded the poll bugle for polls in four states and one Union Territory on Friday, wall painting for the purpose of political propaganda and electioneering has commenced in full swing across the state.


Likewise, Siliguri Organizational Bharatiya Janata Party President Praveen Agarwal was spotted painting the party’s symbol on the walls of the city. Along with the Agarwal, District general secretary Raju Saha and other party workers were also present during the campaigning.

Addressing the media today, Praveen Agarwal said that they are leaving no efforts behind in campaigning for the upcoming assembly polls. He asserted that his party is determined to win the polls. He further added that certain plans are being also made regarding the development work which will be carried out in Siliguri after his party wins the assembly elections.


The EC also restricted door-to-door campaigning to five persons including the candidate. In view of this guideline, Praveen Agarwal stated that they will try to reach as many people as possible virtually.
