Siliguri, 11th January: A vehicle, lost its control, and entered a shop in the Gopal More area of Deshbandhu Para. The incident occurred on Saturday morning.
According to sources, the vehicle, coming from NJP, lost its control and rammed into a shop located at Gopal More. Upon receiving the information, the local Councilor Swapan Das and other people reached the spot.
The locals nabbed five people present in the vehicle. However, the driver fled from the scene. Upon receiving the news, the Police reached the spot and seized the vehicle.
The locals alleged that such accidents keep occurring in the area. Councilor Swapan Das stated that the people are often terrorized due to such accidents.
