Kharibari, 15th March: A sudden fire in a vehicle at the Panitanki taxi stand under Kharibari police station caused a stir in the area today. Luckily, no casualties have been reported as of now.
According to the information, a sudden fire broke out in a Tata Sumo bearing number WB 74/H/4129. Locals spotted the fire and tried to extinguish it. Meanwhile, the Naxalbari Fire Department was also informed regarding the incident.
Upon receiving the news, the fire department reached the spot and put out the fire promptly. While the interior of the vehicle was completely charred, it has been speculated that the vehicle caught fire due to a short circuit.
