Siliguri, 06th December: The Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram felicitated two meritorious students Swapna Munda and Sagun Hasda on Sunday. Besides, Siliguri’s renowned doctor GB Das provided them financial assistance of 20 thousand rupees each.
The duo is currently pursuing MBBS at North Bengal Medical College-Hospital after obtaining good scores in NEET exams. The Adivasi community is extremely happy with their success.
Apart from this, Dr. GB Das has also built a community hall at Batasi’s Jhingajote at a cost of Rs 1 lakh.
State President of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram Kamal Kishore Fuglia, Secretary Vijay Agarwal, Ashish Kumar Das, Moni Lama, and many others were present during the programme.
