Siliguri, 04th October: An atmosphere of shock has gripped the Pradhan Nagar area after the body of an unidentified man was recovered from the sewer in front of the Pradhan Nagar police station. The body was discovered floating in the drainage on Friday evening.
According to reports, a local resident alerted the police about the incident. Upon receiving the information, officers from the Pradhan Nagar police station promptly arrived at the scene, retrieved the body, and transported it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
Preliminary reports suggest that the body has been deceased for approximately 3 to 4 days. The authorities are currently investigating to identify the individual and the circumstances surrounding the death.
