Siliguri, 03rd June: The Matigara police, based on a tip-off, launched operations and arrested two people for deceiving several youths on the pretext of providing jobs in the Military Engineer Services. The police nabbed the duo with the assistance of the army intelligence department. The arrested accused have been identified as Ganga Thapa and Kaushal.
According to police sources, the duo charged lakhs of rupees from several youths of the Matigara police station area on the pretext of getting them recruited in the MES. Several fake documents were recovered from their possession. The duo was produced at the Siliguri court today.
