Darjeeling, 1st February: A fire broke out in the Tumsong Tea Garden factory, about 25 km from Darjeeling, causing panic in the area. According to sources, a tea worker noticed the fire, late Friday night.
The workers then tried to extinguish the fire together. The fire department was also informed regarding the incident. However, the fire engines could not reach the spot as the road to Tumsong was too narrow. The police and the firemen reached the spot on foot and are currently investigating the incident.
