Siliguri, 14th September: The Trinamool District Congress staged a sit-in protest at Siliguri’s Hashmi Chowk area against the privatization of railway services and with a demand to provide jobs to the unemployed amid the ongoing pandemic.
Darjeeling district Trinamool Congress president Ranjan Sarkar and other party workers were present during the demonstration programme. Ranjan Sarkar stated that their movement will continue till September 20.
