Three CC roads under construction in Fulbari’s Putimari; residents welcome development work

Fulbari, 03rd September: Construction of three cement concrete (CC) roads has begun in the Putimari area under Booth No. 291 of Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat.

The road construction work began on Thursday in the presence of leaders of the Dabgram-Fulbari I Mandal, along with panchayat members and workers.

Residents had been facing difficulties in commuting as water regularly accumulated on the roads in the area during the monsoon. With construction of the new roads now underway, local residents have expressed their happiness over the development initiative.

According to information, the three roads will be constructed at an estimated cost of around ₹3.88 lakh.

Dabgram-Fulbari I Mandal Sabhapati Rahul Barman said the concerned part of Putimari is predominantly Muslim-inhabited and that their aim is to ensure development work reaches people based on their needs, irrespective of party or religion.

He further said that more development works will be undertaken in various areas, including Fulbari-I and Fulbari-II, in the coming days.
