Jalpaiguri, 02nd September: The Special Task Force of the state police and the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police arrested three men with yaba tablets. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Hayatullah, Iqbal Hussain, and Eklasur Momin. All are residents of Malda district.
It has been learned that the police, acting on a tip-off, raided Jalpaiguri Paharpur More on late Wednesday night and detained a vehicle. They searched the vehicle and recovered 120 yaba tablets from a bag. Three persons in the vehicle were arrested. Police are investigating the incident. They were sent to Jalpaiguri court on Thursday.
