Rajganj, 08th March: For the past 11 years, Madan Bhattacharya, a social worker from Siliguri, has helped Minati Barman, a needy elderly woman from Fulbari Paschim Dhantala. Every three months, he provides her with all the necessary commodities.
Today, on International Women’s Day, Bhattacharya visited Barman’s house and provided her three months’ ration as well as some cosmetics.
In this regard, Madan Bhattacharya said that he visited Barman’s house today on the occasion of International Women’s Day. While he has been looking after the elderly woman since 2011, Bhattacharya further assured to take care of her in the coming days.
