Siliguri, 17th July: Intending to stop the third wave of coronavirus, Siliguri Municipal Corporation Administrator Goutam Deb held a meeting with the health officials today at SMC.
Addressing the media, Deb said that various issues including vaccination were discussed in the meeting. Oxygen plants will be up and running in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital within this month. At the same time, the areas reporting numerous COVID-19 cases in the city have been declared as containment zones.
In addition to this, the markets of Siliguri city will be closed for a day to sanitize. Apart from this, every tourist visiting Darjeeling will have to take both doses of COVID vaccine or produce RTPCR negative report.
