Siliguri, 17th August: Siliguri Joy Bangla organization staged a protest demanding the boycott of a recently released Hindi web series.
The organization alleged that Khudiram Bose, a heroic revolutionary of Bengal, has been portrayed as ‘criminal’ in the said web series. They lodged a written complaint at the Siliguri Police Station and Cyber Crime Department.
The organization will also be lodging a complaint at the West Bengal Department of Information and Cultural Affairs.
However, the members expressed displeasure over that no other state, except West Bengal, has stepped up to protest against the web series.
