Siliguri, 06th May: In a heart-warming gesture, Sujit Sarkar and his wife Sridevi Sarkar, residents of the Siliguri Netaji Para area, decided to celebrate their second wedding anniversary by distributing cooked meals among 700-800 needy people near their residence.
The couple stated that the nation-wide lockdown in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases has made a huge economical impact on the daily wagers and their families. Therefore, they decided to celebrate their anniversary in a unique way and stated that it was a pleasure to help the needy. They further stated that the distribution was done following all the government protocols.
