Dhupguri, 09th October: Tensions erupted in Dhupguri over the SFI-DYFI’s raid in BDO office.
Reportedly, the students and youths staged a campaign at Dhupguri BDO office today under the leadership of Meenakshi Mukherjee, State President of DYFI, in support of several demands including employment, conversion of Dhupguri into a sub-division, and a separate block for Banarhat.
While the Police tried to stop the rally at the office gate, a scuffle broke out between the protestors and the police officials.
