Siliguri, 03rd June: Taribari, which is situated a few kilometers away from Siliguri, is a place where several people of the city visit in order to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and also to connect with the mother earth.
However, due to the coronavirus outbreak this year, the locals have adopted a bunch of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus. The villagers, wearing mouth masks, leave the area in case of emergencies and completely sanitize themselves before returning to their homes. They have also barricaded the roads to avoid any trespassers.
The locals stated that although the government has given concessions in Unlock 1.0, they are extra careful during this vital period.
