Rajganj, 14th January: The administration has directed to close all shops on for two days in a week. Accordingly, the Rajganj Bazar and its adjoining markets were completely shut down on Friday.
Last Wednesday, discussions were held with different Anchal Pradhans and traders at Rajganj police station. In view of the COVID situation, the Rajganj administration has instructed to keep all the shops completely closed for two days a week. All shops in Rajganj Bazar and Fatapukur Bazar areas have been asked to remain closed as of now. Miking was also done in the area on behalf of Rajganj Police.
In this regard, Arindam Banerjee said that coronavirus cases are on the rise again. So last Wednesday, discussions were held with the traders of Fatapukur and Rajganj under the initiative of the block administration. Following which, it has been decided to close all shops for two days.
