Rajganj, 02nd September: Three people were injured after a private passenger bus collided with a car near Ghoshpara Lal School in the Dasdarga area along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway on Wednesday.
According to reports, the private bus was travelling from Siliguri towards Alipurduar, while the car was coming from the opposite direction towards Siliguri. The two vehicles suddenly collided.
Following the collision, the car was thrown several metres away from the road and was badly damaged.
Three people travelling in the car sustained injuries in the accident. With the help of local residents, the injured were rescued and taken to a private hospital in Fulbari for treatment.
Police from Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police Station reached the spot after receiving information about the accident. The damaged vehicles were recovered, and police have started an investigation into the incident.
