Siliguri, 16th July: Pradhan Nagar Police arrested four people, including three Bangladeshi women involved in human trafficking, from the Siliguri junction area. The arrested accused have been identified as Khadija Khatun Urmi (21), Harjana Begum (27), and Rahima Begum (30). The Indian woman has been identified as Zarina Shah (34), a resident of South 24 Parganas.
According to police sources, the four were arrested from the junction area with the assistance of a voluntary organization. Zarina Shah had intended to take the three Bangladeshi women to a different state on the pretext of giving them jobs. They were sent to Siliguri court today.
