Fulbari, 13th March: The Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost took the initiative to seal and weld cut iron railings in road dividers along Asian Highway 2 in Fulbari to prevent accidents.
It had been observed that the iron railings in the dividers at multiple locations from Fulbari to Chunavati, near Siliguri, had been cut, leading to frequent accidents as pedestrians crossed through the gaps.
Following a news report published in Siliguri Times on Wednesday, the police administration took immediate action, patching up the empty spaces with iron to restore the dividers.
The residents of the area have appreciated this initiative taken by Fulbari Traffic OC Asit Saha to enhance road safety.
