Siliguri, 02nd June: Siliguri Police Commissioner held a meeting with representatives of various banks in the Siliguri Metropolitan Office. Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma has instructed to strengthen the security system for the banks and ATMs as well as directed his police officers to conduct thorough patrolling at all the ATMs of the city.
In the meeting, bank managers were asked to improve the alarm system of their offsite ATMs and improve the security system. They were also instructed to fix the non-functioning cameras in the ATMs of the city. Apart from this, various police stations of the Metropolitan Police have been asked to hold a meeting once a month with the bank management regarding the security of ATMs.
