Alipurduar, 05th April: Sensation prevailed after the nude body of a woman was recovered from a sewer of Madhu Tea Garden in Alipurduar district, on Monday morning. The incident caused a stir in the entire area. The deceased has been identified as Susina Kharia (50).
The body of Susina Kharia, a resident of Madhu Tea Garden, was sighted by the locals in the Yogi line drain of the garden, this morning. Following which, the police were informed.
Upon receiving the news, the Hasimara outpost police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to Alipurduar District Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
