Siliguri, 03rd May: A voluntary organization Notun Udyog caught everyone’s attention by distributing ration among the needy in a unique way.
As per the information, the association handed over tokens to several poor people from the past few days. Following the government guidelines of social distance, hundreds of people, along with their tokens, lined up on Sunday morning to collect free ration. However, this time, the organization implemented a buffet system to distribute food items.
Organization Secretary Amrita Biswas stated that ration was distributed among 150 needy people in Ward No. 15 and its surrounding areas. She further maintained that the entire process was done following all the government protocols.
