Siliguri, 11th September: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) organised an anti-drug awareness programme at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), CRPF School in Siliguri to educate students about the harmful effects of drug use.
During the programme, students were informed about the physical, mental and social harms caused by drug consumption. They were also encouraged to stay away from drugs and spread awareness among people around them.
The students pledged to stay away from drugs and promote anti-drug awareness in society. At the end of the programme, all those present took an anti-drug pledge.
The NCB also delivered a message aimed at developing a positive attitude among young people towards staying away from drugs and creating a drug-free society.
