Siliguri, 7th October: West Bengal Minsiter for Youth Affairs and Power Arup Biswas landed at Bagdogra Airport to visit the flash flood-affected areas of Kalimpong, upon being instructed by the Chief Minsiter.
As per reports, on Saturday, the Minister landed at Bagdogra Airport and left for Kalimpong. In this regard, the Minister revealed that he would visit the flood-affected areas. He added that the CM is closely monitoring the situation and making all the arrangements. Furthermore, he stated that the CM has sanctioned Rs 24 crore for Kalimpong. However, the minister expressed displeasure over the central government’s silence on Kalimpong.
