Mamata Banerjee openly challenges BJP during public meeting in Cooch Behar

Cooch Behar, 16th December: On the third day of her North Bengal tour, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a public meeting at Cooch Behar’s Rash Mela Maidan.

The CM openly challenged BJP and asked the party to begin the war of politics and democracy soon. She criticized BJP, citing the results of the last Lok Sabha elections in Cooch Behar. She said that although the party won the last Lok Sabha elections in Cooch Behar, they are busy committing hooliganism instead of carrying out developmental works. She also raised questions regarding the party’s contribution to the nation so far.

Mamata Banerjee further alleged BJP disturbed the peace of the city after winning the elections. She accused the party of trying to bring state president Subrata Bakshi and Anubrata Mandal in their team. She claimed that leaving TMC does not affect their party strength at all. The ones who were with TMC from the beginning are still with the party.
