Siliguri, 17th August: Soon after 3 bodies were recovered in Kurseong, another body has been recovered, some time ago. However, a search is being carried out to recover the remaining one.
According to police, so far the bodies of four youths have been recovered from the spot while another youth is still missing. The victims were said to be between the age of 18 and 22 years.
It is to recall, on August 15, five youths, including four residents of Rathkhola and another from Siliguri, took off to Lataguri. They then allegedly headed towards Kurseong that very evening. A missing diary was filed at the Siliguri police station, last night, after their family members were unable to communicate with them.
It was later discovered that the vehicle on which the 6 friends were travelling in, fell off a cliff near Kurseong. The bodies of two people, identified as Bikram Das and Rishav Das were recovered yesterday. Another two bodies were recovered today.
