Jalpaiguri, 08th February: The Jalpaiguri Trinamool Chhatra Parishad took to the streets protesting against the constant increase in the prices of daily necessities and petrol-diesel.
Reportedly, the leaders and activists staged a bicycle rally across the city and then protested in front of a petrol pump on DBC Road.
The protesters said that if the price of petrol continues to rise in such a way, common people will have a hard time managing their expenses. On the other hand, sweets were provided to the ones who were spotted buying petrol at higher prices.
