India under Lockdown: Difficult times for the rickshaw pullers in Siliguri

Siliguri, 27th March: The nation-wide lockdown in the wake of rising Covid-19 cases has started affecting the daily wage laborers, rickshaw pullers and their families. Not being permitted to step out of their houses, the rickshaw pullers do not have any other means to earn their living.
In such a situation, they fear that the Novel coronavirus outbreak may render them jobless for months. Therefore, they demanded that the government should immediately look into this matter and provide some solution.
