Siliguri, 27 February: Based on a tip-off, the NJP police recovered a large amount of illegal local and foreign liquor in a hotel located near NJP station.
On Sunday night, the police campaigned in plain attire and arrested a person for running the illegal liquor business for a long time. The arrested individual has been identified as Deepak Roy.
The accused was presented in the Jalpaiguri Court, today. According to police sources, such campaigns will be carried out more often in different areas.
