Home Minister Amit Shah flags off ‘Poriborton Yatra’ in Cooch Behar

Cooch Behar, 11th February: Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the fourth round of the BJP’s ‘Poriborton Yatra’ in poll-bound West Bengal and also address a public meeting on Thursday.

Home Minister Amit Shah took a massive jibe at state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from the Rashmela Math, alleging that she failed as the Chief Minister of the state. “BJP’s Poriborton Yatra is not to change the Chief Minister, MLAs, or ministers. It is to end infiltration,” he added.

The HM further maintained that the PM Modi is developing the whole country with the ‘Sab Ka SaathSab Ka Vikas‘ mantra. Speaking on Mamata Banerjee’s development model ‘destructive’, Shah further stated that the upcoming Bengal assembly poll is a fight between Narendra Modi’s ‘development model’ and Mamata Banerjee’s ‘destruction model’.

“My promise is that by the time the Bengal election comes to an end, Mamata didi will also say ‘Jai Shri Ram’.” Those three words, like all of Bengal and beyond knows by now, has not exactly gone down well with Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee,” Shah stated.

He further mocked the ruling government to hand over Bengal to Modi for five years. “I promise BJP will make Sonar Bangla in five years,” he said.
