Guardians of a private school in Siliguri stage protest regarding school fees

Siliguri, 05th June: The guardians of a private school in Pradhan Nagar area staged a protest after they were asked to pay computer fees and bus fare amid such a crisis.


The guardians alleged that although all schools and educational institutions are shut down across the country for a prolonged period due to the pandemic, the school authorities asked them to pay computer fees, bus fare, and other fees. They further stated that they are living under severe crisis now and it would be a huge burden for them to pay such large amounts. Hence they staged a protest stating that they will pay no other fees other than the school fees.

A memorandum has also been submitted to the school authorities in this regard.

    This is really Ridiculous taking advantage of the Pandimic situation from the Private institutions . Education minister must take some strict action against these School. Every Guardians must stand together and log a complain to the SDM.
