Siliguri, 30th June: People over 70 years and people with special needs (above 45) were vaccinated free of cost at Suryanagar Friends Union Club in Ward No. 23 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, on Wednesday.
It has been learned that the vaccination camp was organized under the initiative of the Siliguri Welfare organization as well as with government help under the management of Liver Foundation Kolkata and Siliguri Sneha Foundation.
Madan Bhattacharya, general secretary of Suryanagar Friends Union, said that around 123 names have been registered in the camp. Vaccination has been going on since morning in accordance with government rules and regulations.
