Siliguri, 13th August: A blood donation camp has been organized on behalf of the East Bengal Fan Club on the occasion of ‘Sports Day’.
It is to be noted that East Bengal Fan Club organizes Sports Day programme on August 13 every year to observe the birthday of their Secretary Dipak Das. Despite the unsolicited pandemic this year, the club celebrated their Sports Day programme by organizing a blood donation camp with an aim to collect 100 units of blood.
Minister Goutam Deb inaugurated the programme by hoisting the club flag.
It has been learned that the collected blood will be sent to the district hospital or NBMCH as per the need.
