Siliguri, 16th July: An incident of theft in a shop near NJP station was reported on Thursday. After the incident, the shop owner lodged a complaint at the NJP police station. Based on the complaint, the NJP police conducted a search operation and arrested two men along with the stolen goods within 24 hours.
The accused have been identified as Krishna Sahani and Vijay Saha who are residents of NJP and Mamata Para. The police arrested the duo from Netaji More area. After interrogating the accused, the police recovered the stolen goods from a godown in NJP. The accused were produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
