Darjeeling, 14th March: Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) Chairman Anit Thapa took an initiative to commence the process of registration and mutation in the Darjeeling Municipality.
For many years, the people of Darjeeling were facing a lot of problems due to the absence of the procedure. He stated that the general public was being unable to transfer their property, such as flat, house or electricity connection, to their name. In view of these inconveniences, the GTA chairman Anit Thapa spoke to the Darjeeling District Governor after which the registration and mutation processes resumed. Thapa added that for the good of the people of the hills, he is ready to go to any extent and all government levels.
