Darjeeling district CPI protested alleging Trinamool Congress of corruption

Siliguri, 13th August: Raising accusations of corruption against the Trinamool Congress, the Darjeeling district CPI protested at Jhankar More of Siliguri on Saturday. The party’s leaders and workers demonstrated for a long time. 


In this regard, CPI leader Partha Maitra alleged that the TMC is full of thieves and dacoits. He further claimed that crores of rupees will be found if every TMC leader and minister’s house is searched. The CPI leader further took a jibe at the TMC claiming the party’s (TMC) supremo and state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is the main root of the corruption prevailing in the state. He demanded the immediate arrest of the CM.
