Rajganj, 08th November: A four-wheeler car lost control and fell into the Fulbari Teesta Canal, on Monday. Luckily, the four passengers somehow saved themselves from drowning by breaking the car’s glass and jumping out. The incident surfaced around 4 am in the area adjacent to Shivnathpara of Gajoldoba Fulbari Teesta Canal.
“This morning, we, along with the driver, were travelling to Siliguri from Kranti. The car suddenly lost control and fell into the Teesta Canal. We broke the glass and through the gap, we got out and saved ourselves,” Subhash Roy, one of the passengers said.
Meanwhile, Ambari outpost police reached the spot after receiving the news. The police recovered the vehicle and started an investigation into the whole incident.
