Jalpaiguri, 19th July: A boy identified as Ashik Mridha went missing while taking a bath in Teesta River. The incident surfaced from Sukantnagar Colony of Jalpaiguri.
Ashik and his friend went to bathe in the Teesta river in the afternoon. However, he went missing after a while. After the incident, the locals started searching for him, but to no avail.
On the other hand, the Kotwali Police and Civil Defense members reached the spot after receiving the news and have launched search operations.
