Fulbari, 04th December: Sensation prevailed in the area after the lifeless body of an individual was recovered from the Teesta Canal located in Fulbari. The deceased individual has been identified as Navin Sarkar (33), a resident of the Haider Para area in Siliguri.
According to reports, the deceased body was spotted from the Teesta Canal under the bridge under the Fulbari More area adjacent to Siliguri. Subsequently, the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police were informed of the incident.
The police promptly arrived at the location, recovered the body, and transported it to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for an autopsy examination. At present, the entire incident is under further police investigation.
